I have been working for this family for 1 year and 7 months, with the main task of caring for the baby from 2 months until it is now 1 year and 9 months old. In addition to taking care of the baby, I am also responsible for doing housework, cooking, and preparing for the needs of all family members. This house has two heads of household with five family members: grandparents who are still healthy and working and a young couple and their baby, who are my main employers. I am very grateful that this family is very kind to me. I have gained valuable experience in this job. However, I would like to find new opportunities that will allow me to develop even better. At this point, I feel limited in exploring and developing myself. As a helper, I am inspired by many other domestic workers who are able to work simultaneously and hone various other skills. I really hope to become one of them so that I can not only be professional in my work but also have broader skills for a better future. |

Our Story
After many years in Singapore, and making a lot of mistakes in hiring helpers for her own home, Jennifer Yarbrough decided there must be a better way. She was looking for a fellow expat who understood her needs, who could help her screen for someone who would be an asset for her family. To her disappointment, she couldn’t find such a person or company, so she decided to start her own.
After a lot of research and polling friends and strangers about how to make the process better, she developed a process to screen helpers, understand their skills and weaknesses, and match families with good potential candidates.
So with a mission to improve the lives of both helpers and families, White Glove was born.
Since May 2019, when we placed our first helper, we have grown tremendously, and have many happy clients and helpers to count as our friends now. We have hired more agents to help serve our clients better, and we plan to grow even more in the future.
